Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients from adolescence through geriatric using CT scanners to produce cross-section images for diagnosis. Generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation while utilizing PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images correctly. Ensure department, equipment, and staffing meet accreditation requirements set forth by JCAHO, ACR, and state licensures, leading the accreditation process for the specific modality. Plan daily patient workload to accommodate demand while covering vacations and sick days, and perform other job-related duties as assigned. This role is full-time with variable shifts at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Fort Bragg, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Venipuncture (IV) certification
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Three years' CT technologist experience
- Advanced certification in the modality of CT
- Fluoroscopy license
- Venipuncture certification
