Job Summary
Assess, plan, and evaluate care for patients from adolescence through geriatric while producing sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images correctly and ensure department, equipment, and staffing meet accreditation requirements for JCAHO, ACR, and state licensures. Lead the accreditation process for the specific modality and plan daily patient workloads to accommodate demand while covering vacations and sick days. Requires an ARRT (CT) or ARRT (R) license, BLS certification, and IV certification. Full-time variable shift position at Adventist Health Mendocino County in Fort Bragg.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Venipuncture (IV) certification
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Three years' CT technologist experience
- Advanced certification in the modality of CT
- Fluoroscopy license
- Venipuncture certification
