Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnosis. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric. Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation and use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images. Plan daily patient workload and provide adequate staffing while covering vacations and sick days. Ensure department, equipment, and staffing meet accreditation requirements including JCAHO, ACR, and state licensures. Lead the accreditation process for the specific modality. Maintain compliance with required vaccinations and E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Venipuncture (IV) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Three years' CT technologist experience
- Advanced certification in the modality of CT
- Fluoroscopy license
- All required vaccinations
