Sr. Critical Lift & Transport Engineer (Falcon)

Job Summary
Lead planning, analysis, and execution of complex critical lifts and heavy-haul transports for Falcon hardware, coordinating with structures, manufacturing, launch operations, and supply chain to integrate lift/transport into program plans. Develop lift plans, rigging designs, and transport configurations; conduct risk analyses and fatigue assessments; oversee on-site operations, pre-lift dry runs, and post-operation debriefs; interface with external vendors for equipment rentals; maintain engineering calculations and regulatory documentation; travel to support operations and launches; require familiarity with AFSPCMAN 91-710, OSHA, and ASME B30 standards; ITAR compliance and ability to present certification packages to government agencies (NASA, US Space Force).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical and structural hardware
- 2+ years of experience with crane lifting, crane rigging or crane transport operations
- Willingness to work weekends and night shifts as needed
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- U.S. citizen or eligible to obtain required authorizations (ITAR)
