Job Summary
Senior CFEs are the first line of supervision and leadership within our operations department, running data center critical infrastructure 24/7/365 with 100% uptime. The role combines robust engineering analysis with hands-on trade work, supervising CFEs and contractors, coordinating 24/7 operations from the Facility Operations Center, performing electrical, mechanical, and control system maintenance, participating in RCA, driving continuous improvement, and completing an 8-month Critical Facility Engineering certification program. The position emphasizes leadership, ownership of work, collaboration, and a commitment to reliability and customer service in a hyperscale data center environment.
Required Qualifications
- ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology; or
- Journeyman or Master license in the HVAC or electrical trade; or
- 2 years of experience in one of the mission-critical engineering operations roles (U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Program, U.S. Army Prime Power Program, U.S. military aviation maintenance supervisor E-6 to E-9 or commissioned officer, NERC System Operator RC/BT/TO/BI, Reactor Operator or SRO, Data center Critical Facility Engineer)
