Sr Credit & Collections Specialist

Sr Credit & Collections Specialist responsible for timely follow up and resolution of outstanding insurance claims to maximize reimbursement and minimize aging accounts receivable. Works directly with payers, internal billing teams, and operational departments to resolve claim denials, underpayments, and unpaid balances while maintaining compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines. Generates demand letters, prepares status reports for management, and leverages knowledge of denial management, claim submissions, and reimbursement processes (Medicare and commercial insurance) to optimize cashflow. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of commercial debt collection experience; preferred experience in pharmacy/home infusion. This role is part of Elevance Health's hybrid workforce and may involve in-person training and periodic time onsite as needed.
