Job Summary
Manage an assigned accounts receivable portfolio by reviewing aging, prioritizing risk, contacting customers, and driving balances to timely resolution. Evaluate customer credit using applications and financial reports to recommend limits and risk controls. Investigate and resolve billing disputes, short payments, and invoice discrepancies while coordinating root-cause corrections. Monitor exposure and delinquency trends to prepare aging reports and recommend bad-debt or legal actions for approval. Proactively identify process and control issues to implement improvements and maintain accurate records. Serve as a senior resource by providing guidance, supporting audits, and maintaining professional customer relationships. This role supports healthy cash flow and customer relationships for Yamazen Inc.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five or more years of business-to-business credit, collections, accounts receivable, or related experience with complex or high-value accounts
- Commercial credit, collections, aging, cash application, billing, deductions, ERP/accounting systems, and Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- distribution or manufacturing, advanced Excel, INFOR, credit-reporting tools, or professional credit certification experience
