Sr. Creative Strategic Designer

Job Summary
Drive design agendas for PepsiCo's Global and Regional brands by defining concepts, prototyping ideas, and launching strategically aligned design for brand identity, packaging, and POS systems. Lead project teams across multiple concurrent projects, delivering compelling design solutions that support business growth and brand strategies. Mentor L6 and L7 designers while fostering talent through positive engagement and decisive decision-making. Present design concepts to senior brand teams and clients, leveraging advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills to solve business problems. Requires full ownership of assigned projects, strong presentation abilities, and fluency in English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience working in a design/creative agency or inhouse design studio
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design
- Proven ability to apply and perform design tasks including sketching, ideation and graphic layout
- Exceptional skills using Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop
- Outstanding portfolio that demonstrates graduate level design thinking and validates industry experience
- Strong communication skills, ability to explain thought processes, collaborate in ideations, present work
- Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated in owning and delivering design project and managing team tasks
- Must build fluency in written/spoken English & Spanish
- Proven experience in developing strategic brands, packaging and brand experiences
- Keen eye for design trends in addition and extraordinary design savvyness
- Compelling presentation and proposal skills with experience presenting to senior brand teams/or clients
- Proven ability multi-task, work in ambiguous and dynamic work environment; is comfortable with risk and uncertainty
- Works well with others to deliver results; leeds others, keeps them informed, avoids unnecessary risk
