Sr. Corporate Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Senior Maintenance Technician on the St. Paul corporate campus leading advanced preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of building systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers, lab fume hoods, electrical distribution, plumbing, building automation) with on-the-floor technical leadership, contractor coordination, and project participation. The role independently diagnoses complex issues, promotes safety and reliability, and supports facility-improvement projects and compliance while ensuring operational continuity. Requires 8+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, a High School Diploma or GED, Minnesota boiler license (or ability to obtain within six months), and strong skills in VFDs, MCCs, electrical systems, laboratory equipment, welding/brazing/soldering, piping, water-treatment systems, and reading schematics/blueprints. Preference for an associate degree or technical certification; prior experience with corporate HQ/lab facilities and building automation/EMS systems is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree in a maintenance-related field, technical certification, or equivalent trade training preferred
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on industrial, commercial, or facility maintenance experience
- Minnesota State Chief Class C Boiler License or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- Technical skills: VFDs and MCCs; strong mechanical aptitude; experience repairing pumps, motors, HVAC equipment, laboratory equipment; knowledge of water treatment systems (closed-loop, dealkalization, RO, DI water); pneumatic control systems; ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints; working knowledge of LOTO, hot work permits, confined space, hazardous chemical safety; computer proficiency; ability to work with leadership and contractors
