Job Summary
Sr. Controls & Compliance Analyst I will assist in designing and implementing governance and best-practices across the organization, collaborating with Accounting, Finance, AR/AP, Treasury, Legal, Operations and IT, and managing relationships with external auditors and consultants. The role involves evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, advising on audit, controls, risk and financial compliance requirements, ensuring end-to-end coverage of customer financial risk, and driving continuous improvement of the control environment to ensure GAAP compliance. This position requires strong communication with leadership, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role is based at the Frisco, Texas office and is a full-time, hybrid position.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field
- At least 3 years' experience in accounting, SOX, audit or internal controls
- Knowledge of SOX, COSO, internal controls, auditing/accounting policies, US GAAP, and financial best practices
- Strong analytical, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
