Job Summary
Sr Contracts and Procurement Manager oversees procurement, contracting, and supply chain for solar development and construction projects. Responsibilities include identifying and prescreening solar equipment and EPC suppliers, building supplier relationships, leading the sourcing process from RFI to contract execution, negotiating favorable terms and pricing, analyzing cost structures, monitoring market trends, implementing cost-reduction strategies, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance, and optimizing the supply chain to reduce lead times. Requires strong negotiation and contract drafting skills, technical knowledge of solar technologies, and familiarity with procurement best practices and Procore. Hybrid work arrangement in Houston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain with a focus on solar energy projects
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related role
- Strong knowledge of contract drafting principles and negotiations
- Familiarity with Procore or related project management software
- Ability to prepare RFPs, coordinate bid schedules, and evaluate vendor proposals
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experienced in ensuring compliance with environmental and import/export standards
Desired Qualifications

- Procore familiarity
