Sr Continuous Improvement Technician

Job Summary
Sr Continuous Improvement Technician responsible for leading safety and Lean-based continuous improvement initiatives to achieve zero unsafe conditions, defect-free products, on-time delivery, and exceptional customer experience. Partners with facility leadership to formulate safety policies compliant with OSHA, conducts Kaizen events, drives waste reduction, and implements strategies to improve overall compliance and process performance. Applies Lean principles, conducts root cause analyses, investigates safety incidents, provides safety training, and mentors operations teams in safe work behaviors and waste identification. Requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and experience in manufacturing safety, process improvement, and project leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience in a manufacturing work environment
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership
- Experience working with or knowledge of OSHA and Workers’ Compensation; OSHA certification preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work well in fast-paced environment; collaborative
- Overtime flexibility
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
