Job Summary
Own day-to-day operations for OTTera's owned-and-operated content brands and channels, managing content ingest, QC, programming, scheduling, and monetization reporting. Lead editorialization across all distribution endpoints while coordinating with Delivery, Engineering, and AdOps on channel deliveries. Track viewership trends and surface insights to inform programming and rights decisions, then compile monthly reports for rights holders. Serve as a senior liaison for major platform partners like The Roku Channel and Samsung TV+, translating their technical and compliance requirements into internal processes. Monitor partner portals to preempt breaches and coordinate remediation efforts. Mentor coordinators and interns while maintaining process documentation and onboarding materials. This headquarters-based role in Los Angeles's North Hollywood Arts District requires 7+ years of OTT/FAST/AVOD operations experience and autonomy over end-to-end KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in OTT/FAST/AVOD operations, content delivery, or platform partner management, including demonstrated senior-level ownership
- Expert working knowledge of major streaming platforms (Roku, Samsung, LG, Vizio, Amazon, Vidaa, Google) and their certification, content, and advertising requirements
- Deep experience with content management systems, metadata standards, EPG, artwork specifications, and FAST/AVOD delivery protocols (HLS, XMLTV, MRSS, SSAI, third-party VMVPD)
- Proven ability to independently manage programming, scheduling, and editorialization for multiple linear or FAST channels
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to deliver compliance notices and coaching in a constructive, professional manner, and to lead partner reviews
- Proficient with Airtable, Excel, and PowerPoint for tracking, reporting, and partner reviews
- Solid grasp of viewership analytics and monetization reporting (CPM, fill rate, ad revenue, license fee reconciliation)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple platforms, channels, and partners simultaneously and set priorities independently
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving streaming environment; able to establish process where none exists and mentor others
