Job Summary
Originate new loan business with existing and new customers by evaluating needs to recommend consumer loan and voluntary product solutions. Complete loan applications and proposals, follow up with pending applicants, and explain the loan process while answering product and processing questions. Take ownership of customer concerns, work with management to resolve potential problem loans, and consistently meet or exceed loan goals. Close loans, assemble folders, and break down files while servicing a complex consumer loan portfolio. Process insurance claims, follow-ups, and payments daily, maintain logs, and answer incoming phone calls. Assist the Branch Manager with operational tasks like daily initialization and deposits. Adhere to corporate, legal, and regulatory policies regarding compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a goal oriented, incentive based sales role
- Professional demeanor
- Positive attitude
- Strong communication and customer relations skills
- Ability to work well independently
- Ability to be a dedicated team member
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Windows
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
