Job Summary

Sr. Consultant, Procurement manages end-to-end procurement activities focusing on software, SaaS and IT services. Defines issues, engages and negotiates contract approaches, leads vendor selection, deal negotiation, and contract approval, and coordinates inputs from legal resources and SMEs to create contracts that support cost reduction and risk mitigation. Works with internal clients and suppliers to align procurement solutions with business objectives, and drives governance, risk management, and continuous improvement on moderate to high complexity projects. Requires ability to manage multiple priorities, develop engaging client relationships, and apply procurement knowledge to ensure successful contract outcomes. The role supports a hybrid work arrangement with 1-3 days on-site per week at the Toronto location.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement and/or supplier processes, practices, tools and templates and principles of formal sourcing processes
  • experience drafting various contract schedules (e.g., Scope of Work, Commercial Terms, etc.) is preferred but not necessary
  • strong written and oral communication skills; ability to influence and negotiate
