Job Summary
Senior Consultant, mechanical focus for new gas-fired power plant builds. Lead and support conceptual design and capital project execution, serve as owners engineer for power plant new build projects, perform mechanical design and equipment selection, support specifications, vendor oversight, and commissioning activities. Prepare for and lead client meetings and technical discussions; provide field support (approximately 15-20%) for project execution. Remote or hybrid work across the United States and Canada with periodic travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- 8-15+ years of experience in Power plant design, operations & maintenance, capital project management
- Demonstrated mechanical systems expertise and ability to execute projects independently
- Strong design, vendor oversight, and commissioning capabilities
- Ability to travel approximately 15-20%
- Role: Senior Consultant, full-time or part-time with remote or hybrid work across US/Canada
