Job Summary
Lead PHAs for chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, and food industries; conduct DHAs for dust handling facilities and Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) studies. Manage projects involving process safety management and PHA activities, defining resource plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely delivery. Conduct audits on PSM, RMP, and EHS; perform incident investigations consistent with process safety management requirements. Provide guidance and training to personnel on PHA and LOPA facilitation while monitoring cyclical activity and approving invoicing. Assist in incorporating industry best practices into the PHA program and support pressure relief and flare systems design.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 5+ years of experience leading PHAs
- Experience implementing HAZOP, Failure modes and effects analyses, What-If, and Checklist analyses
- Experience conducting LOPAs

Desired Qualifications
- PMP designation desirable but not required
