Job Summary
Sr Consultant, Financial Reporting responsible for the accounting/reporting component of key client relationships. Serves as the client’s main point of contact for reporting communication, manages small projects, leads process-improvement initiatives, participates in client meetings, tracks KPIs, and maintains internal documentation. Acts as ADS lead during transitions; provides accounting consulting guidance internally and externally; supports the monthly close cycle; engages with top revenue clients and senior management. Working model is hybrid with time split between the office in Chicago and work-from-home. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field, strong client-facing and communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and willingness to travel up to 10%. Must reside in or near Chicago and report to the office three times weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong working knowledge of reporting and products
- Client facing experience with the ability to present detailed concepts
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Proven analytical, consultative, and problem-solving skills
- Organized and able to manage time and meet deadlines
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Must reside in or near Chicago and be able to report into the office three times weekly
- Willing to travel to client visits (<10% travel)
