Job Summary
Apply expert guidance and tools on consulting engagements to enable faster, smarter decisions and stronger performance on an organization's most critical priorities. Articulate findings and implications on client software delivery techniques, providing fact-based recommendations for improvements within Enterprise Architecture. Define target state architecture, manage stakeholders and risks, and execute solution design and transition strategies. Make high-impact client presentations with compelling storyboards and visualization to deliver actionable recommendations. Collaborate with internal practice and industry leaders to contribute reusable solutions, proposals, and Points of Views (POVs). Work as an individual contributor to deliver complex engagements for large customers across North America, EMEA, and Japan regions.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of total work experience in a consulting or industry role
- 4+ years of dedicated experience operating within an Enterprise Architecture function
- Experience across the architecture lifecycle and set of services
- Developing technology strategies
- Developing business aligned architecture visions / concepts
- Options development and assessment considering financial implications
- Technology Portfolio optimisation
- Technical design and delivery assurance & governance
- Solution design & delivery
- Architecture capability uplift
- Practical experience in applying and tailoring enterprise architecture frameworks and techniques (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF)
- Comfortable with at least 2 architecture domains – Business, Data, Applications, Tech / Infrastructure & security
- Experience with solution architecture and software development
- Willingness to drive capability development of Gartner's Enterprise Architecture offering
- Knowledge of leading-edge and emerging technologies that drive modern architecture such as cloud-native platforms, microservices, continuous availability, integration platforms, and mesh application and service architecture
- Strong foundational knowledge across multiple architecture domains, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, API strategy, ERP ecosystems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data architecture
- Experience in managing end-to-end large-scale technology bids including requirement gathering, RFP/RFI development, market scan & vendor profiling, vendor evaluation, bid support during due diligence and BAFO phases
- Strong technical capabilities coupled with the ability to clearly communicate the business value and bottom-line impacts of technology decisions to a non-technical audience
- Customer facing experience – delivering presentations, workshops and working sessions
- Strong Excel, analytical, and visualization skills including PowerPoint
- A passion for client service and excellence in delivery that includes attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Passionate about technology and helping clients in the time of industry disruption led by technology evolution
- Possess a curious and inquisitive mindset, with innovation excellence being a key driver and motivator
- Flexible in outlook, and willing to participate in different projects as per business requirements

- Experience with solution architecture and software development is preferred
