Job Summary
Lead data quality initiatives by independently engaging stakeholders to identify complex challenges, translate them into scalable controls, and design automated monitoring solutions using SQL, Python, Control-M, and Power BI. Establish and enhance enterprise data governance frameworks, including standards, metadata assets, and compliance assessments, while driving root cause analysis for data quality issues. Act as a trusted advisor to influence governance strategies, reduce data redundancy, and mentor junior team members to promote consistent adoption of best practices across business and technology domains.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field
- significant experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Enterprise Data Management
- Demonstrated experience leading data quality initiatives and working with business and technology stakeholders across multiple functional areas
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- experience with Python or other programming languages used for data analysis, automation, and quality monitoring
- Strong understanding of database architecture, data integration, data lineage, and data management principles
- Experience designing and developing business intelligence and data visualization solutions using Power BI, Incorta, or similar analytics platforms
- Deep knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Metadata Management, and Enterprise Data Management concepts and best practices
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical and data governance concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, drive change, and lead cross-functional initiatives with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Recognized expertise in Data Governance and Data Quality methodologies, including experience establishing standards, controls, and monitoring frameworks
Desired Qualifications
- Strong experience with Collibra Data Quality, Collibra Data Catalog, or comparable enterprise data governance and metadata management platforms
