Job Summary
Senior BI Engineering architect/individual contributor role within Visa’s Global Data & AI team. Responsible for establishing BI architecture standards and reusable frameworks for dashboards, semantic models, datasets, pipelines, KPIs, and governance; driving BI lifecycle management, data quality and lineage; enabling low-code automation and AI-assisted BI; coordinating with business, product, and technology teams to deliver scalable BI products; supporting cloud migration and platform modernization; embedding governance, security, and auditable data practices into BI delivery; leading cross-functional collaboration and contributing to a Community of Practice. Requires 3 days in office in Bengaluru with in-person collaboration and stakeholder engagement across global teams. Key technical skills include SQL, PySpark, HiveQL, Hadoop, AWS EMR, NoSQL, Apache Airflow, Git/GitHub, CI/CD, React, MicroStrategy, and experience with BI tool ecosystems and enterprise dashboards. Strong communication, leadership, and ability to influence senior stakeholders across geographic and functional lines are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.
