Job Summary
Collaborate with internal business partners to develop and monitor KPIs for subrogation and operational vendor services, while creating reporting tools to track critical milestones. Lead project planning and implementation to achieve financial outcomes, optimize supplier costs, and resolve payment issues. Consult with leadership and end users to solve vendor problems, adhere to governance frameworks, and drive provider performance improvements. Manage budgets, identify cost savings opportunities, and assess risks to ensure appropriate mitigation strategies are in place. Deliver projects aligned with supplier initiatives and work with stakeholders to identify efficiency opportunities. Establish strong relationships as the key point of contact for business partners. This remote role supports Aflac's strategic goals through continuous improvement initiatives and requires strong organizational and negotiation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business Administration, Health Care Management or a related field
- 6 or more years of professional job-related work experience
- Strong understanding of claims processes and compliance
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple subrogation and recovery opportunities
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and reporting
- Problem-solving skills to address obstacles
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A high degree of skill in the analysis and resolution of complex and sensitive scenarios
- ≤ 10% travel
- Remote work within the continental US
