Job Summary
Install required structural upgrades for accounts, complete home repairs including roof and stucco work, and coordinate with field teams to troubleshoot delays and ensure tasks stay on track. Perform project review and material sourcing, mix chemicals per specification, load and unload materials, and maintain job site cleanup and vehicle standards. Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and company standards while acting as a field resource to ensure scopes are completed to standard and timelines are maintained across the pipeline. Monitor project sequencing and site readiness to ensure smooth execution, provide technical expertise to Construction Technicians, and support operational flow by stepping in directly when pipeline delays or scope gaps arise.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience with residential construction or solar experience
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including customers
- Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance)
- Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces which requires frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, turning, standing, and balance
- Ability to work in confined spaces which requires kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including but not limited to: excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet environment, and humidity
- Ability to frequently utilize hand functions requiring fine motor skills including but not limited to: fine manipulation, grasping, and pinching
- Up to 25% travel may be required
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb and work from 20-foot ladders.
- Comfortable working in outdoor conditions including heat, cold, and variable weather.
- Capable of working in attics and other confined spaces when necessary.
- Must be able to walk rooftops of varying slopes and materials.
- Ability to work in the sun and possibly low light conditions
- Ability to work with chemicals using appropriate protection
