Job Summary
Oversee the planning, design, execution, and completion of healthcare construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget. Develop detailed project plans, coordinate with architects and engineers, and lead project teams to foster collaboration and productivity. Monitor progress, mitigate risks, conduct site visits, and prepare status reports for senior management. Manage contracts with subcontractors, ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes, and facilitate decision-making to address project challenges. Mentor junior staff and lead post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement. Requires 8+ years in healthcare facility project management, PMP or CCM certification preferred, and full-time onsite work in Memphis, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management of healthcare facilities
- Proven record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project resources effectively
- Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret and apply complex construction plans and technical specifications
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal construction regulations and standards
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate project teams
- Full-time onsite in Memphis, TN at the various project locations
Desired Qualifications
- Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CCM (Certified Construction Manager) PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent is preferred
- Healthcare experience is preferred
