Sr. Construction Project Manager

Job Summary
Lead the overall direction, execution, completion, and financial performance of large, complex self-perform construction projects while providing visible leadership to Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field personnel. Manage projects using established controls, procedures, and reporting tools, including constructability reviews, coordination efforts, and key meetings with owners, architects, and subcontractors. Oversee project forecasting, budgeting, cash flow, and profitability, and lead subcontracting strategy, buyout activities, and contract administration to mitigate risks and manage change orders. Develop and implement project-specific safety and quality plans, maintain CPM schedules, and coordinate labor, equipment, and material planning to maximize productivity. Partner with estimating teams to develop budgets and execution strategies, and coach project staff through mentorship and career growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 10-15+ years of progressive construction management experience
- Experience managing projects valued at $50 million or larger
- Strong technical construction knowledge
- Communication skills
- Proven ability to lead large project teams
- Experience with project financial management, forecasting, and cost control
- Advanced scheduling and CPM planning experience
- Experience coordinating multiple trades and administering subcontract agreements
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, risk management, and change management processes
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment while driving accountability and results
- Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

- Union construction experience
- Proficiency with Procore
- Proficiency with Bluebeam
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software
