Sr. Configuration Engineer - Workforce Management Systems

Job Summary
Lead design, configuration, development, testing, and production support for global UKG Pro Workforce Management solutions supporting corporate, distribution center, and retail operations. Configure modules including timekeeping, advanced scheduling, labor forecasting, and workforce analytics; develop integrations using Boomi, REST APIs, and middleware platforms. Partner with HR Technology, Payroll, and Store Operations teams to deliver scalable workforce solutions that improve labor productivity and operational efficiency. Perform root-cause analysis for complex production issues, maintain SLA adherence, and drive continuous enhancement initiatives across multiple countries. This role serves as a technical lead and subject matter expert for Dimensions, collaborating with Product Managers and Architects to support enterprise architecture standards and workforce optimization strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 5+ years supporting enterprise Workforce Management platforms
- Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience with UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions)
- Deep knowledge of Time & Attendance
- Deep knowledge of Scheduling
- Deep knowledge of Labor Forecasting
- Deep knowledge of Workforce Analytics
- Deep knowledge of Absence Management
- Deep knowledge of Labor Compliance
- Experience configuring workforce business rules, pay rules, accruals, and scheduling policies
- Experience supporting enterprise integrations using APIs, Boomi, middleware platforms, or file-based interfaces
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience supporting cloud SaaS platforms and enterprise applications
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills
- Experience working within Agile product delivery methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- UKG Pro WFM Implementation or Advanced Configuration experience
- UKG Workforce Central migration experience
- UKG Pro WFM certification(s)
- Experience supporting large-scale global retail organizations
- Experience with labor standards, workforce optimization, and forecast modeling
- Experience integrating UKG with Workday
- Experience integrating UKG with SAP
- Experience integrating UKG with Oracle Cloud
- Experience integrating UKG with PeopleSoft
- Experience integrating UKG with Payroll platforms
- Experience with Boomi integration development
- Knowledge of workforce compliance requirements across North America, EMEA and APAC
- Experience supporting SOX, Audit, Security, and Compliance controls
- Retail industry experience strongly preferred
