Job Summary
Varo is seeking a Sr. Compliance Officer for its Marketing & Advisory team, responsible for ensuring compliance with consumer protection laws while collaborating on marketing materials and product development. Ideal candidates have a background in compliance within the banking or fintech sectors, and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Consumer compliance experience with deposits and/or open-end credit in the Banking/ FinTech space
- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and thought-leadership
- Working knowledge of a Compliance Management System
- A passion for and dedication to detail

- Experience providing compliance advice to all levels of management
- Ability to communicate positively with members of various internal teams and regulators
