Sr. Compensation Analyst

Job Summary
Consult the HR team and business leadership on hiring, promotions, and annual compensation programs by conducting research, quantitative analysis, data modeling, and mining to drive strategic decisions. Develop job levels, salary structures, and recognition programs while aggregating data for compensation surveys. Implement communication and training for recruiters and managers to ensure program transparency. Mentor junior team members and present data-driven insights to understand trends beyond the numbers. This role requires relocation to Hawthorne, CA, and extended hours; the salary range is $120,000 to $170,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of professional experience in the area of compensation and/or human resources
- This is not a remote position and will require relocation if not already local to the Hawthorne, CA area
- Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in business, mathematics, economics, or finance
- 5+ years of experience working with complex compensation packages
- Experience working with equity compensation packages
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong data analysis skills
- Strong consultative skills and highly effective in communicating clearly and persuasively with excellent influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using best practices, knowledge of internal and external business issues to provide a new perspective on existing solutions or create new solutions
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple high-priorities in a fast-paced environment
