Job Summary
Manage all stages of the commissioning process, from initial planning and design reviews to final testing and handover. Create commissioning plans, schedules, test procedures, and verification checklists to ensure facility compliance with design specifications, health and safety standards, and performance requirements. Act as the primary contact managing communication between teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors while preparing documentation, inspection reports, and final certifications. Perform and oversee functional and site acceptance testing to verify system performance. Train direct reports on processes and manage their workload to maintain alignment with company standards. Foster an inclusive work environment and communicate strategy to the team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 10-12 years of data center commissioning experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth knowledge of data center systems, including power distribution, cooling, HVAC, and IT equipment
- Ability to manage schedules, budgets, change orders, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively
- Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
