Job Summary

Sr. Commercial Manager will own and lead the RFP response and competitive bid processes for global BESS projects, negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers (equipment, services, EPC), perform cost analysis, and make strategic product decisions for projects. Responsibilities include developing RFP requirements for sub-contractors, evaluating bid results, conducting bid analysis and modeling to support procurement, collaborating with supply chain for competitive intelligence, and interacting with customers, vendors, and potential suppliers. The role requires experience in commercial contract negotiation and RFP management in the energy sector, strong stakeholder coordination, and the ability to make critical decisions under time pressure. The position is based in Canada or the United States and is offered with a compensation range of $150,000–$200,000 plus annual bonus; equal opportunity employer (EOE). Required Qualifications

  • Educational background in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Commercial contract negotiation and RFPs management experience for equipment supply in the energy sector

  • Experience partnering with internal and external stakeholders to optimize responses
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills
