Sr Commercial HVAC Project Manager

Job Summary
Lead long-term owner direct relationships and manage traditional design build and design assist projects from estimating through closeout. Conduct site surveys and plan reviews to develop schedules, coordinate resources with field superintendents and subcontractors, and ensure labor and materials meet client specifications. Issue purchase orders for equipment and materials, manage manpower projections, and complete monthly billings and job cost reports to maintain profit margins. Prepare final as-built drawings, operation manuals, and warranty documentation while resolving conflicts and negotiating with customers. Requires flexibility for shifting priorities and thorough knowledge of mechanical construction industry practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years' experience minimum preferred
- Ability to estimate mechanical work
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Computer skills to include MS Word, EXCEL, AutoCAD, Project Management Software
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to multi-task responsibilities
- Flexibility to adjust to shift priorities and deadlines
- Ability to negotiate with customers, must be diplomatic and have ability to resolve conflicts
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, including technical, professional and upper management
- Able to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical construction industry practices, processes, and standards – including systems design, installation
