Job Summary
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand commercial loan and deposit relationships throughout the Austin and Lakeway markets. Build consultative relationships with business owners, executives, investors, and privately held companies by sourcing new opportunities through direct calling, referral networks, and community involvement. Structure, price, and recommend commercial lending solutions aligned with client objectives and bank risk standards while conducting credit analysis and preparing comprehensive loan packages. Manage the assigned commercial loan portfolio, ensuring strong asset quality and coordinating with credit partners to monitor performance and maintain accurate risk ratings. Analyze client financial needs to identify opportunities for treasury management, deposit growth, and additional banking services. Represent the bank within the local business community and resolve client concerns to deliver a high level of service across all commercial banking relationships.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial banking, commercial lending, or relationship management experience
- Demonstrated success developing and managing commercial loan and deposit portfolios
- Strong C&I lending experience with privately held businesses and operating companies
- Experience with credit analysis, underwriting, loan structuring, and portfolio management
- Knowledge of commercial lending regulations, loan documentation, and risk management practices
- Proven business development and relationship management skills
- Experience partnering with treasury management, wealth management, credit, and other banking teams
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field required

- Graduation from a recognized school of banking preferred
