Job Summary
Sr Commercial Banking Officer responsible for calling on business banking clients for depository, lending, and fee-based opportunities in the Bank’s market. This role targets companies with $3 million to $15 million+ in annual revenue, manages commercial loan transactions of moderate complexity, analyzes financial statements, and cross-sells bank products and services while maintaining client relationships and community involvement. Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required; flexible work schedule with some evenings/weekends; emphasizes development of new business, underwriting, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years banking experience with at least 5 years of direct business lending experience required.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge and ability in underwriting business loans involving commercial real estate, accounts receivable, inventory, and equipment required.
- Previous experience with working capital lines of credit and letters of credit required.
- Previous experience working with the Small Business Administration and their various loan programs required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office based computer applications.
