Job Summary
Senior CNC Programmer responsible for developing and optimizing complex machining processes for aerospace components on 3- to 5-axis mills and lathes, with live tooling. Utilize Mastercam to generate programs, write and debug G-code/M-code, create setup sheets and tool lists, and drive process improvements, cost reductions, and cycle-time efficiency. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Tool Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Production staff on the shop floor to prove out, test, and revise programs while ensuring adherence to blueprints and tight GD&T tolerances.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of direct CNC programming experience in aerospace or high-precision environments
- 5+ years of Mastercam experience
- Experience with Catia and SolidWorks is highly desired
- 5+ years of CNC machining operation and setup experience
- Experience machining materials such as Inconel, Titanium, Stainless Steel, aluminum alloys, Delrin, Nylon, and other non-metals
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, apply GD&T, and use precision measuring tools (calipers, bore gauges, micrometers)
- Self-motivated, well-organized, strong collaboration and communication skills
