Sr Cloud & Security Engineer

Job Summary
Lead design, implementation, and protection of our cloud infrastructure, strengthening security posture while enabling innovation. Develop and maintain secure, enterprise-grade cloud processes (including zero-trust, defense-in-depth, and least-privilege); secure applications and environments across public/private/hybrid clouds; deploy IAM controls; support ongoing operations (email gateways, CASB/SEG, DLP, SIEM, DR, antimalware); mentor junior staff; act as security consultant across projects; participate in secure AI tool design and implementation; drive incident response and security program management in a hybrid home/in-office environment with Saint Louis, MO location.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5-7 years IT practitioner experience
- 2-3 years exposure to Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and/or VMware
- Experience managing perimeter security products (SWG, CASB like Netskope/Zscaler, SEG like Microsoft/IronPort, WAF like Imperva/F5)
- Experience with DLP tools (data at rest/motion) and endpoint/point products (CASB/SEG)
- Experience with antimalware tools (Windows Defender, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with vulnerability management platforms (Rapid7, Qualys, Tenable)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (LogRhythm, Rapid7) and integrations/alerts
- Expertise with Microsoft Intune (MAM, conditional access)
- Experience writing technical documentation
- Hybrid work environment with home and in-office requirements
