Job Summary
Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure platforms. Provide technical support, triage, and resolve complex production problems, network performance issues, and operational challenges. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Azure DevOps to automate provisioning and operational processes. Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud, network, and security services to maximize availability, performance, and cost efficiency. Independently lead key initiatives that require interfacing with internal customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement reliable solutions. Participate in on-call rotation to provide production support and ensure timely incident response outside regular business hours. Mentor junior colleagues and act as a subject matter expert to guide technical capacity growth across departmental teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Extensive experience in IT Infrastructure Operations, cloud platform engineering, network engineering with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure
- Scripting skills in bash, Python, PowerShell
- Experience with CI/CD, automation, and system monitoring
- Experience with troubleshooting and continuous improvement
- Experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
- Experience with security features such as Security Rules, URL filtering, proxies, SSL decryption, and threat prevention
- Well-versed knowledge of AWS networking services such as Amazon VPC, load balancers, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect
- Knowledge of AWS security services such as AWS WAF and Shield
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and data protection strategies
- Ability to implement best practices for securing cloud infrastructure
- Proven experience with Windows Server and Linux systems
- Familiarity with Windows Server administration, including Active Directory and DNS
- Demonstrated experience with using AI tools to improve IT operations — incident response, troubleshooting, or root cause analysis
- Ability to perform deep technical analysis and troubleshooting of system and performance issues related to OS configuration, cloud infrastructure, and networking
- Experience with vulnerability management, patch management, and maintaining compliance across hybrid environments
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience with orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Ability to challenge the status quo respectfully and constructively
- Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to explore innovative approaches and deliver practical, effective solutions
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Must be available for on-call rotation to provide production support and ensure timely incident response outside regular business hours
