Job Summary
Lead hosted and remotely managed SAS application environments from kickoff through UAT and go-live, providing expert consultation for major post-deployment changes such as upgrades and migrations. Define technical requirements to ensure system stability, act as a SAS Administrator for high-complexity tasks including container-based application management, and resolve complex recurring issues to maintain system health. Apply IT Service Management best practices for change, incident, and problem management while creating documentation including runbooks and knowledge base articles. Collaborate with global teams to enhance automation, share best practices in enterprise architecture, and ensure adherence to security policies and SAS Cloud standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience writing programs in more than one language
- 8 years of experience in end user and system administrator consulting or providing other first-level consulting
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Fluent in English
- Proof of right to work in IE
- Previous technical experience in at least 4 of the following: Experience of SAS Administration or support, Experience in AWS and/or Azure, Experience in Kubernetes, Experience in systems support, user support, customer support, consulting, or training for enterprise class software and/or hardware, Experience with UNIX or Linux supporting enterprise class applications, Experience with managing customers and their expectations, Experience managing large commerical IT cloud systems
