Job Summary
Architect and maintain enterprise-level Kubernetes clusters, including analysis of performance requirements, sizing exercises, and security compliance for roles, secrets, and access controls. Support 24x7 production environments with traditional Dev/Ops tasks and provide on-call follow-the-sun support to cross-functional teams while identifying and resolving issues promptly. Champion best practices by continuously evaluating architectures and systems, offering technical guidance and mentorship to additional team members. Build on-premises and managed clusters across multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP, leveraging CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an enterprise Dev/Ops role
- 3+ years of Kubernetes administration/development
- Expertise with on-premises and managed Kubernetes cluster administration/development
- Expertise with multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Azure and GCP using their native Kubernetes platform (EKS, AKS, GKE, etc.)
- Proficient with CI/CD including the development and maintenance of Azure Pipelines or similar deployment technologies
- Experience with Kubernetes hardening or cybersecurity best practices
- Familiarity with networking, security, database concepts
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with OpenShift
- Experience with Microservices
