Sr. Cloud Engineer

Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain multi-cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP while developing landing zones aligned with security and governance standards. Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and CloudFormation to automate provisioning and lifecycle management. Implement cloud security best practices, enforce governance policies, and partner with security teams on audits and vulnerability remediation. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for high availability, disaster recovery, and cost efficiency. Act as a technical lead to mentor junior engineers, review designs, and provide guidance to stakeholders on complex cloud initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure
- Working knowledge of OCI and GCP in production environments
- Strong understanding of Networking (VPC/VNet design, routing, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM, RBAC, federated identity)
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows server workloads
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (native or third‐party)
- Experience operating cloud platforms at scale
- Understanding of compliance, governance, and security controls
- Ability to work in regulated or audit‐driven environments
Desired Qualifications
- Cloud certifications (one or more): AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
- Cloud certifications (one or more): Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect
- Cloud certifications (one or more): Google Cloud Professional certifications
- Cloud certifications (one or more): OCI Architect certifications
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, OKE)
- Experience with Hybrid connectivity, ExpressRoute / Direct Connect / VPN
- Experience with Defender, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
- Prior experience in global or multi‐region environments
