Job Summary
Coordinate clinical trial management delivery by overseeing the clinical budget, developing monitoring plans, and driving enrollment and study start-up activities. Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions based on trip reports to ensure study integrity. Train and mentor Clinical Research Associates to optimize performance while fostering productive relationships with sponsors, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Manage competing priorities to deliver high-quality outcomes across clinical programmes, with approximately 25% travel required. This role supports ICON's mission to bring new medicines to patients faster through effective study oversight and team development.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a Clinical Trial Management position at a CRO or Pharmaceutical Organization
- Bachelor's degree in health, life sciences, or other relevant fields of study
- At least 10+ years of relevant experience in clinical trial management
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 25%)
- Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of monitoring experience
- Experience in managing complex or global trials
- Experience in managing all trial components from start-up to database lock
- Experience in coaching/mentoring other CTMs, leading a team of CTMs, and participating in departmental initiatives
