Job Summary
Senior Clinical Systems Analyst role focused on the liaison, implementation, support, and maintenance of the clinical information system (Cerner) across Valley Hospital and VHS. Responsibilities include problem tracking, resolution, ongoing enhancement requests, active participation in system testing, workflow redesign, change management, and continuing education for facility employees and physicians. Serves as liaison between VHS departments, Information Services, physicians, office staff, vendors, and Corporate IS. Travel for training/meetings as required. Must be a graduate nurse with at least five years of nursing experience, RN licensed in Nevada, and skilled in clinical information systems and workflow optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current RN license by the State of Nevada
- Minimum of five years nursing experience
- Extensive working knowledge of clinical information systems (Cerner)
- Ability to work with Physicians and Midlevel providers to determine workflow needs and provide training in clinical applications and process improvement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- English language proficiency with excellent written and oral communication skills
