Job Summary
Sr. Clinical Sales Specialist in Columbia, SC for DePuy Synthes Spine, responsible for advancing orthopedic surgical product sales by providing expert clinical and logistical support in the operating room, including independent coverage of surgical cases, management of billing/purchase orders, logistics, and asset deployment. Works under general supervision, may mentor junior colleagues, and serves as the sole company representative in surgeries to ensure equipment availability and proper functioning. Activities include troubleshooting, responding to physician needs, sharing customer/procedural insights with cross-functional teams, preparing sales documents, and providing OR/ Sterile Processing Department consultations. Education/Experience requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience or an Associate Degree/Medical Certification with 5+ years or 7+ years of experience; travel and relocation to the territory may be required; valid US driver’s license; strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills; knowledge of anatomy/physiology and surgical instruments; capable of working independently in complex environments.
