Job Summary
Sr. Client Service Representative in the Client Service Dept. responsible for day-to-day servicing for Japanese trust banks and asset managers within Global Custody. Manages day-to-day activities for assigned client relationships, oversees product offerings to support high client satisfaction, handles custody account opening/closing/maintenance, global coordination for new markets, client invoicing and fee receivable management, system setup for onboarding and invoicing, and ad-hoc client/internal inquiries. Includes leadership/people management duties such as overseeing direct reports, providing feedback/coaching, and participating in interviews. Requires 3-5 years in related client service/onboarding/invoicing roles, strong client-facing communication, BI tool experience, and native-level Japanese with business English; we welcome diverse backgrounds and emphasize collaboration and long-term client success.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in client onboarding, invoicing, or client service within Custody, Trust Banks, or Middle/Back Office functions in Asset Management or Brokerage
- Strong communication skills with experience in client-facing roles
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools
- Interest in optimizing operational efficiency
- Experience in training or supporting others is a plus
- Native-level Japanese and Business-level English proficiency
