Job Summary
Senior-level Sr Client Service Manager in Retirement Services responsible for delivering high-quality account management and administration for defined contribution relationships. Build and maintain strong client and advisor relationships, serve as primary contact for assigned clients, and oversee day-to-day account management with operational oversight. Partner with Relationship Managers to provide retirement-plan and operational expertise, proactively identify and resolve client issues, and engage clients with value-added consulting. Support fiduciary responsibilities by addressing plan compliance, regulatory, and operational issues with TPAs and financial advisors; review plan activity (compliance testing, 5500s, quarterly statements, RMDs); coordinate with internal operations, financial advisors, and TPAs; train Advisors and Plan Sponsors on procedures related to payroll submission, fund changes, loan and distribution processing, and compliance testing; advise on mandatory and discretionary plan amendments; understand non-discrimination testing under IRC sections 401(k), 401(m), and 401(a)(4); provide website training to Advisors, Plan Sponsors, and TPAs; solve complex problems with analytical skills; relate customer needs to team members and leadership; manage detailed work within timeframes with accuracy; familiarity with various plan designs (traditional 401(k), safe harbor, automatic contribution arrangements, new comparability). Salary range $75,000 - $85,000 base, with potential bonus eligibility; Location: Remote, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Professional certification preferred ASPPA (QKA, QPA), CEBS or NIPA (APA) (APR) preferred
- Knowledge of ERISA Regulations and the applicable Internal Revenue Code is required
- SunGard Relius Administration experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required
- Demonstrated experience handling relationships with participants, advisors, Plan Sponsors, or TPAs
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification ASPPA (QKA, QPA), CEBS or NIPA (APA) (APR) preferred

- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency
