Job Summary
Coordinate carrier relationships and lead service teams for large accounts, developing initial placement and renewal strategies while performing all Account Manager responsibilities. Prepare or peer review risk maps, execute marketing activities for major clients, and analyze complex risk exposures to recommend appropriate coverages. Complete special projects, identify process improvements, and escalate issues to leadership. Serve as a mentor to new colleagues when requested. Requires five years of Account Management experience, strong technical knowledge of the general insurance market, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Fast-paced environment with some travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess at least five years' experience

- Possesses strong technical knowledge of general insurance market conditions
- specific knowledge of insurance carrier underwriting appetites
- ability to analyze complex risk exposures
- ability to develop appropriate recommendations for clients and prospects
- Possesses intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Possesses intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Possesses intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Possesses intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- ability to learn any other appropriate insurance company and firm software programs
- Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance
- willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment
- Demonstrates effective presentation skills through verbal and written communications
- Must be able to travel
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree
- either has, or is working towards, a professional insurance designation
- Exhibits excellent client service and problem-solving skills
