Job Summary
Lead smaller projects by preparing technical bid evaluations for pre-engineered steel buildings, structural steel supports, and subcontracts. Develop site grading and drainage systems, perform runoff and foundation calculations, and review civil/structural proposals to ensure alignment with project specifications. Coordinate with client personnel, manage vendor documents, and provide technical guidance to lower-level personnel with minimal supervision. Accept short and extended site assignments as requested. Requires 5-10 years of experience and knowledge of ACI, IBC, and AISC standards. Gulf Companies has served the global energy industry since 1953.
Required Qualifications
- Typically, 5 - 10 years of experience in engineering
- In depth knowledgeable of industry standards and codes published by ACI, IBC, AISC, ANSI, etc.
- Knowledge of civil/ structural engineering analysis & design computer programs like RISA 3D, Mat 3D, Foundation 3D, LPile etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or office materials
- Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- EIT Certification or PE Licensee preferred
