Job Summary
Senior Chief Electrical Estimator leading preconstruction efforts in Indianapolis for an electrical contractor focused on design-build projects. The role involves guiding estimating activities, mentoring junior estimators, interfacing with design engineers, clients, and internal teams, and building out a preconstruction department. The candidate will work directly with the company President and has a clear path into senior leadership and department ownership in the Indianapolis market. This is an on-site, in-office leadership position with relocation possible for the right candidate. Compensation includes base salary with performance-based incentives, benefits, PTO/holidays, and long-term leadership opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of electrical estimating experience
- experience in design-build or design-assist environments
- ability to interface with design engineers, clients, and internal teams
- strong leadership skills with ability to mentor junior estimators
- strategic mindset to build systems and processes
- based in or willing to relocate to Indianapolis; on-site, in-office leadership role
- open to relocation for the right candidate
