Job Summary
Lead value stream analysis to assess current operations and design a future state; plan and execute Rapid Improvement Events (or Just Do Its) to eliminate waste and boost productivity; train and coach staff via Gemba walks on problem solving and Lean methodologies (flow, on demand, zero defects, standardized work, visual management); ensure adherence to event standard work and foster culture change by developing leaders to adopt Lean principles; collaborate with Value Stream Coach, Site Leader, Department Managers, and Supervisors to resolve issues during implementation and maintenance; fulfill Value Stream Coach duties when needed; requires strong communication, presentation, and leadership to energize inclusive teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Lean environment
- Experience facilitating at least 30 successful Rapid Improvement events
- Knowledge of the Lean/Continuous Improvement tools and practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
