Job Summary
Senior Category Manager, Clinical Goods and Services leads strategic sourcing initiatives for contracted goods and services, drives supplier negotiations to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and diversity, and coordinates cross-functional teams (legal, risk, information security) to manage contracts and spend. Builds financial models to evaluate proposals, provides regular status updates to leadership, and develops procurement strategy with a focus on achieving the lowest total cost of ownership. Requires strong contracting principles, leadership, vendor relations, and excellent written/verbal communication, with proficiency in MS Office and E-Sourcing tools. Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and 7+ years in procurement or supply chain with experience in strategic sourcing and contract management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting or Engineering
- MBA or equivalent background preferred
- Professional purchasing certification or Lean Six-Sigma desirable
- 7+ years of related experience in supply chain management, procurement, or project management with an emphasis on strategic sourcing
- Demonstrated experience sourcing materials and services for major projects in a fast-paced environment
