Sr Casualty Claims Adjuster

Senior casualty claims professional responsible for the fair and accurate disposition of moderately complex casualty claims through investigation, evaluation, and settlement or recommendations within authority up to $25,000; role supports a potential work-from-home arrangement after training. Responsibilities include interpreting policy coverages under personal and commercial lines, investigating and evaluating liability and damages, maintaining case files, establishing reserves, negotiating settlements, directing defense counsel in litigation, identifying potential fraud (SIU referrals), answering inquiries, and delivering excellent customer service. Requires a college degree and commensurate casualty claim experience, plus 3+ years of MA auto bodily injury claims experience and some mediation/litigation experience; benefits discussed include hybrid schedules and a 37.5-hour workweek with a Boston, MA headquarters location.
